3。75⭐️ I knew this would be a sad one but Jesus Christ。 I wasn’t too into the whole story & it was kinda just a high school fiction, not much plot。 There was something to root for which I enjoyed。 Finny, you have my heart。 I got through it so fast not bc the story was fascinating because it really wasn’t, but because I knew the ending was a heartbreaker。 & lemme tell ya。。 I’m still sobbing & I think I’m pissed off at the ending。

I had high hopes for this book because of the high rating。 It’s boring, the main character is a piece of toast。 There is no flow of the book。 I felt like I was reading short robot sentences the whole time。 The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because the ending finally had things to feel about。 Unfortunately, the entirety of the book, I was hoping to get to the ending as fast as I could。

I’m trying to understand。 The book itself and the hype that surrounds it。 It is distasteful at times and very predictable。 I’d like to think that maybe if I were ten years younger than my opinion would be different, but I don’t think fourteen year olds should be reading this book。 Only because of the message the ending gives。 I wanted so badly to like this book。 I wanted my soul to be crushed, I wanted to cry。 But I just finished it and that’s it……。 I will not think of it again。 Maybe this is th I’m trying to understand。 The book itself and the hype that surrounds it。 It is distasteful at times and very predictable。 I’d like to think that maybe if I were ten years younger than my opinion would be different, but I don’t think fourteen year olds should be reading this book。 Only because of the message the ending gives。 I wanted so badly to like this book。 I wanted my soul to be crushed, I wanted to cry。 But I just finished it and that’s it……。 I will not think of it again。 Maybe this is the book that makes me move on from YA。 。。。more

3。5First read when it came out back in 2013 and It was sad then, it's still sad now。 Saw this blow up on booktok recently so I reread and once again, I don't get why booktok overhypes everything。 I'm not saying this was bad。 But I am saying this book is a 100% NOT 'the saddest book ever'。 The story between the two leads was beautiful but the plot was predictable and theres literally so much books with a similar premise。 I don't get why it's being sensationalized sm now。 It isn't bad, but it does 3。5First read when it came out back in 2013 and It was sad then, it's still sad now。 Saw this blow up on booktok recently so I reread and once again, I don't get why booktok overhypes everything。 I'm not saying this was bad。 But I am saying this book is a 100% NOT 'the saddest book ever'。 The story between the two leads was beautiful but the plot was predictable and theres literally so much books with a similar premise。 I don't get why it's being sensationalized sm now。 It isn't bad, but it doesn't hold up to the hype either。 。。。more

I want to ratee this a little higher but I'm not sure I can the longer I think about it。Because this is set in a high school setting, some moments were eyeroll worthy。 I'm rating this higher because I was enamored with the story enough to stay up late and read over half of it in one sitting。 My biggest issue is obviously the pregnancy trope。 It's arguably my least favorite in all of writing。 It feels like wee got all this build up for it to to turn into nothing。 I think the slow burn wasn't full I want to ratee this a little higher but I'm not sure I can the longer I think about it。Because this is set in a high school setting, some moments were eyeroll worthy。 I'm rating this higher because I was enamored with the story enough to stay up late and read over half of it in one sitting。 My biggest issue is obviously the pregnancy trope。 It's arguably my least favorite in all of writing。 It feels like wee got all this build up for it to to turn into nothing。 I think the slow burn wasn't fully worth it when the book STARTS and we already know the twist and the ending。 I wish we didn't get that in the beginning because then the whole time I go "why does it even mater? we know where at least one of them ends up" 。。。more

This was so depressing that I can’t even consider it a good read

I devoured this book in one sitting however I felt that the ending was rushed and abrupt。 I feel like the story is unfinished and that makes me feel unsettled。

this was like genuinely so well written for a YA book until the rushed ending。 like it just did not flow。 with that being said i did in fact cry sorry bout it

Spoiler Alert! This was such a good book! It was really sad, and I hate that it ended the way that it did。 I really wanted Autmn and Finny to make it。 It took so long for them to finally be together。 I knew from the very beginning they were going to be together。 I just wish it would not have taken the entire book for them to realize their feelings towards one another。 I also did not like the ending and not knowing if she was pregnant for sure or not。 Romance is not my normal genre, but this book Spoiler Alert! 4。75/5i don’t even know where to start i just finished this book and i feel so numb。 i loved the writing, characters, pretty much everything until the ending when it was rushed。 but other than that this book was so impactful and i will definitely be thinking about it for a long time。 i adored finny and autumns relationship soooo much i love them sm。 might be a new comfort book but it’s so sad

The reason this is a 4 star instead of 5 star rating from me is primarily because of the first 50ish pages。 The main character, Autumn, is DIFFERENT and WEIRD and nobody understands her and she’s NOTHING like other girls……hard to read through all of my eye rolls。 But overall I really loved the pacing and the build up。 Haven’t cried over a book in such a long time—I knew the ending was coming but didn’t want to believe it。 However, I feel like I could’ve done without the last two pages。

bella

idk if i want to scream cry or throw up。 probably all of the above。

Overall, there was a good plot and so much build up。 So many people reccomend it and I was excited。 However, I feel like the story kind of dragged on and on。。 Then when I finally got to what I knew was happening the ending seemed extremely rushed。。 80ish chapters later and it took like 3 to get to where we were going。 Nice concept! It did shatter my heart because poor Finny。 🙃

Nope。 Od anotace jsem čekala tak nějak něco úplně jiného。。。 achjo。

I loved this book! If you’re considering reading, definitely read!!I really liked the main character, Autumn, because I feel like a lot of the things she did were very realistic for a teenage girl。 Teendom is a complex time for girls and I personally feel that a lot of the time in books, movies, etc。 this complexity is not properly or realistically portrayed, but it was done wonderfully in this book! Autumn was in her “not like other girls” phase, something many of us go through at some point as I loved this book! But in the best way possible?? I won’t ever recover and I don’t want to <3 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 Sooo, this book could easily have like 3 stars。 I usually don't really write reviews but for this one I had to。 Throughout the whole book it is sooooo painfully obvious Autumn and Finn like each other。 Like, for real。 How do they not realise? Apart from that it was mostly easy to read。 What I really really really hated was how the author handled Autumns Depression。 Depression is not as easy as being sad and having problems sleeping。 It could have been a good element to the story。 But the author Sooo, this book could easily have like 3 stars。 I usually don't really write reviews but for this one I had to。 Throughout the whole book it is sooooo painfully obvious Autumn and Finn like each other。 Like, for real。 How do they not realise? His death is so fucking stupid, I literally can not get over how stupid it is。 And then there are like 3 more pages ans the book is over? No closure, nothing。 In the end the book was really disappointing。 。。。more

Loved Autumn and Finn's story, I read this book in one seating and enjoyed the pace and characters。This book is a reminder that sometimes what we need is in front of us and we can only hope we don't realize too late。 Loved Autumn and Finn's story, I read this book in one seating and enjoyed the pace and characters。This book is a reminder that sometimes what we need is in front of us and we can only hope we don't realize too late。 。。。more
